Lots of Philippa Gregory this evening, about whom there were varying opinions. We managed quite a range of British history, from medieval times to the 20th century. Kathryn brought a little reference book called Divorced, Beheaded, Died, the History of Britain's Kings and Queens in Bite-Sized Chunks, in order to keep track of everybody.
The best contribution to the evening, however, was made by Linda, who was not even there. Thanks, Linda, for your hilarious "what else can go wrong trying to get to genrestudy" story.
Next meeting is April 1st at Kerry's Vancouver apartment. Topic is Science Fiction.
