This evening included a really interesting variety of books, from a post-fame autobiography of Alec Guiness to a strange little novel about the alphabet to a cookbook masquerading as a diary (or maybe it was the other way around). Generally positive reviews. There's more to write, but I can't because I have to go back to obsessing about the f***ing wedding which is now 2 weeks away.
Looking forward to seeing you on October 29 when I will be a legally-married woman. The meeting is at Pat's (4611 Wickenden Rd, North Vancouver) and the topic is the exotic and mysterious sub-continent of India.
